The Demogorgon is allowed 6 portals to be in the arena at a time. This allows the killer a wide variety of options to dominate the map space and to lock down certain key areas of the map. Thus, there is now an entire library of information that delves into the overall mythos of Dead by Daylight Cosmetics by Daylight which fleshes out entire backstories and beyond. The Tome

The Tome is the core of the entire Archive that's an interconnecting tree of nodes called "The Auris Web". The Shrine is fundamentally used to unlock 'Teachable Perks' that are available every week. Around midnight every Wednesday, The Shrine resets itself and there are four new 'Teachable Perks' available for purchase for the next 7 days. Teachable Perks are basically used to unlock the possibility to receive unique perks for characters while in the Bloodweb.
